Recently AISIG hosted an insightful discussion on EU AI regulation and governance with Tekla, who shared her experience working at the EU AI Office. With around 20 attendees and a full room of engaged participants, the event explored the practical implementation of the EU AI Act, the AI Code of Practice, company compliance and safety measures, and the evolving policy landscape in Brussels.

The conversation was lively and interactive, with many thoughtful questions during the Q&A. It was especially inspiring for students to connect with a former tech law student now working directly in the field of AI governance, and hear her reflections on both the policy process and her career path.
